Lentini, la festa religiosa del santo patrono Alfio. In questa scena : i devoti entrano ,correndo, dentro la chiesa dove i romani strapparono ,con delle tenaglie, la lingua del S. Alfio e la gettarono a terra dove creò un pozzo. Dentro la chiesa fanno un inchino al santo gridando il suo nome. I devoti faranno diversi giri correndo , a petto nudo e piedi scalzi, in base alla grazia chiesta e ricevuta. L'umo al centro serve a dividere il flusso dei devoti in entrata ed uscita.
