Lo scopo del mio viaggio in Francia erano i campi di lavanda, non c'è bisogno di nasconderlo; quando però ho visto la vicinanza con il Parco Nazionale del Verdon beh, non ho saputo resistere e sia all'andata che al ritorno ho speso lì mezza giornata alla ricerca dei famosi grifoni del Verdon! All'andata i risultati sono stati pessimi, non ho visto assolutamente nulla, mentre al ritorno (informandomi meglio) ho trovato un punto migliore e ho avuto la fortuna di assistere a molti esemplari di questa magnifica specie!
