Really beautiful, but the whole sequence is valuable. The temptation to take back the Kodachrome 64 is strong, it's only the time factor (the cost is clear that you take it without question, because film and development have a cost and, I add, a proper scanner, like the Nikon 5000 and that if I'm not mistaken you use) that holds me back because I imagine that scanning and processing must not be a trivial matter. Of course, the slide recalls a photograph designed and technically perfect for exposure (other than dynamic range from 12/14 stops), but when I see my old (so to speak, it is very well kept) Contax 159 and the two vario zooms sonnar 28/85 and 80/200 that went so well with the paste of Kodak films, the temptation to find a scanner and get back on track "the old way" is strong. Anyway, congratulations for your showcase of scans, really valuable. Mark.

Dear Marco, first of all, I thank you for the all too kind words of appreciation, on the one hand, but on the other hand, your words left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth.
When you mention Kodachrome, in fact, you remind me of the mythical film of my youth which, however, like my youth, is now only a memory of the past.
Fortunately, however, there are still some worthy heirs of that myth and so, given also (and above all) the splendid equipment that you still preserve... Ok... we are no longer carefree guys... but a few rolls of slides, thank God, we can still impress him! :-)

Oggi, mi chiedo, questa filiera persiste in capo a qualche bravo laboratorio oppure i negativi te li sviluppi tu in C.O.?

;-) Oh dear Marco, you have reopened another very painful wound for me, the profession of the phyotographer, in particular that of the ceremonial photographer, an environment that I know well for having had two uncles and a cousin photographers.
A profession, as you rightly said, now obsolete... replaced as it is by the usual "friend with the i-phone"! :-(
Going back to the slides, however, I am lucky enough to have a laboratory that treats the E-6 very well, the only problem is the biblical times: ten days - usually - sometimes even more.
At this point what can I say dear Marco if not good light and I recommend: watch out for the exposure :-) ;-)
Good afternoon,
Paolo.

Beautiful series, they look like color palettes.
What films do you use?

Thank you for the appreciation Ivan.
For the film, on the other hand, I use the Velvia 50, sometimes the Velvia 100.
