Giancarlo, my technique is very simple. I never used photographic sets.
- listen for identification
-approach
-Using the camera with torch x focus.this are just the "tape" on the hood with bodywork scotch
-blue flash used in hss to have fast shutter speeds.
M-camera, servo, single shot, fixed iso.
- set exposure by closing / opening F and adjusting the times
Not easy in the dark but you get used to it.
