Per creare questo still life mi sono ispirata ad un mito polinesiano secondo cui tutto ha avuto origine da una conchiglia. Solitamente, quando si arriva in Polinesia, si riceve un bocciolo di Tiaré (Fiore) come simbolo di benvenuto. Al momento dei saluti, invece, viene donata una collana di conchiglie come forma di augurio di ritorno al Fenua (Terra di Polinesia). Io non sono mai stata in Polinesia, ma amo sognare ad occhi aperti... Aloha amici!
