Il salto tra luci e ombre, mescolate davvero molto bene nell'acqua, aprono ad un gran racconto. Anche cromaticamente l'immagine è in equilibrio, il rosso trova il verde, il bianco il nero e il colore della roccia si sposa alla perfezione con l'incarnato del ragazzo.
I quattro elementi ellenici (acqua, terra, fuoco e aria) sono rappresentati tutti ed il racconto prende un taglio squisitamente filosofico.
Quei fasci di luce dall'alto si contrappongono alle alghe rosse sommerse, la solidità della roccia invece dialoga benissimo con la fluidità dell'acqua. Nel mezzo l'uomo con la sua azione, il suo salto, ancora in aria, ancora sospeso, è l'attimo perfetto dove non si sale e non si scende, l'attimo in cui le forze degli elementi sono in equilibrio con quelle dell'uomo.
