Lion ... sent on September 19, 2012 (18:36) by Riccardo79. 11 comments, 1069 views.

, 1/1250 f/5.6, ISO 200, Etosha National Park, Namibia.

Good light and pose shame really, the grass on the eye penalizes you.

The setting is fantastic, the color of the grass makes a very good idea of ??the temperature and dryness of these areas, unfortunate for the "thread" of grass.

Why do not you come down to move the blade of grass? :-D:-D

Great subject and I also like how you have set! :-)

It was really beautiful if it were not for that blade of grass out of focus just on the eye ... : Fconfuso:
I ask those who know more than me, you would be able to do something in PP?

with Ricki, Claire and Ivan, in fact those blades of grass a little disturbing, but I must say that this is one of those kinds of shots I was hoping so much to do, let's say that I did 90%!
For the pp. I think certainly that with patience you can make a work of cloning, in fact, I'm sure after seeing the pages of some examples of cloning Juza.
When I have some free time I'll try, unpretentious as I am not a magician PS:-D

Hoping to please, I have tried with curves and the layer mask at the point where there is an ear ... I am not a magician of PS in fact the result that I got is not that great ... But it may serve to give you a hint ...
I will place below

As you can see you can see where I went to work, but perhaps with more patience, accuracy and above all the RAW files, you could do better

Good light
Ivan

Hello Ivan, I meant clone / delete the blades of grass, not all of course, but the most invasive.
The best would be to remove from the vehicle even that branch back to the lion-D

Yes yes I understand your intent, but I see it hard to clone where there is the "ear" ... ;-)
For personal taste, however, I leave them all the blades of grass, and even the branch, make environment ... :-)
