Non sono un esperto, ma dopo aver assistito a questa bellissima scena ho cercato di documentarmi. Se ho commesso qualche errore chiedo scusa e correggerò la didascalia qualora arrivasse un suggerimento da chi ne sa più di me. Dovrebbero essere due biacchi (Hierophis viridiflavus), due maschi per l'esattezza. Inizialmente pensavo fosse un accoppiamento, ma dopo aver studiato un pochino mi pare di capire che questa danza aggraziata e per nulla cruenta venga messa in atto da due esemplari maschi che, in questo modo, si contendono le grazie della prediletta. In effetti poco distante ho visto (e fotografato) anche un altro esemplare, presumibilmente la femmina. Sono rimasto affascinato da questo movimento vorticoso e continuo dei loro corpi longilinei. Mi sono accorto di loro perché mentre stavo aspettando l'ora giusta per fotografare un panorama ho sentito del rumore provenire dall'erba secca vicino a me. Ho anche appreso che fortunatamente questi serpenti non sono affatto velenosi, possono al limite piantare qualche morso, ma solo se disturbati. Sono molto veloci e anche abbastanza lunghi. Conoscerli un po' meglio, non fa male di certo. Spesso l'ignoranza porta ad ingiustificate paure. [TEMA NERO per la visualizzazione] #Serpenti
