Grazie Massimo

Francesco really resembles him but it was so small that this photo besides having a 30% cutout was made at a distance of about three meters with a 300mm focal length and when he left he went to sit on a nearby tree where he first It was a Cuculo and its size was much smaller than the Cuculo, now my only doubt is that I never happened to photograph a sparrow and I do not know its size.
Thanks for answering my question :-P
Greetings Massimo ;-)

The easiest way to identify is:
Breath of fast wings and long tail: sparrows
Breath of mighty wings and rope tail: gossip

Hello Massimo, great shot, even to me it looks like a Sparrow, but at 3 meters and 300mm? It seems like a long way off with a cutout at 30%
Excuse me but it's just to understand.
Hi good evening :-)

Roby had a fast beat and nonlinear course without ever having seen a Sparrower and if you say it is smaller than a Cuculo I will surely be my first Sparrower, the tail was long and narrow as in the picture, while Mauro is not sure about the cutout But the original file was 4606x3072 and was cropped with resolution 2890x1931 from 39.71x26.47 for 350dpi to 30x20 for 350dpi this is the cutout I've made tell me what your relationship is.
Thanks again

Ciao Massimo, this is a very nice picture! The bird you captured is an adult male Sparrowhawk (Sparviere maschio adulto) with prey! They are quite small compared to other birds of prey, even a bit smaller than Kestrel (Gheppio) or Merlin (Smeriglio). Compliments on your gallery, and good luck on your photography. Best wishes, Hans
