Vista dal campo avanzato del Cerro Torre o Campo Maestri sul bacino del Glaciar Torre che con la sua enorme lingua glaciale si immette nel bacino della Laguna Torre. Dietro le montagne in secondo piano si estende lo Hielo Continental Sur, la terza calotta di ghiaccio della terra per dimensioni dopo le calotte polari, 100 km di larghezza per 400 km di lunghezza!
