All'improvviso il Pacifico. La costa è spettacolare e sinceramente non me lo aspettavo a tal punto. Grandi larghe spiagge si aprono tra enormi costoni di roccia. La spuma bianca delle onde che si rifrangono si allunga per decine e decine di metri creando l'effetto di una seconda grande e mobile striscia prima del blu: l'oceano. Chi l'ha già visto sa di che parlo. Impossibile resistere. All'aria i piani. Comincio ad uscire dalla panamericana. Sulle spiagge spettacolari tanti uccelli grandi, piccoli, sulla riva, sulle rocce, sulla sabbia. In cielo una quantità non indifferente di rapaci, il tutto nel frastuono assordante dell'infrangersi delle onde.
