Iran /Tehran - Golestan Palace. Karimkhan's Sanctum is one of the buildings that date back to the Karimkhan Zand era. This place was connected to the Forum and the Marble Throne Hall through the interior and the Golestan Palace, but this passage was closed owing to the renovation of the building in Nasseraldin Shah's reign. After Agha Mohammad khan Qajar beat Lotfalikhan Zand, and overthrew the Zand Dynasty, he issued a decree to exhume the bones of Karimkhn's corpse and to transport them to Tehran to be buried under the stairs of Karimkhan's Sanctum, where people passed daily. In the reign of the first Pahlavi King, the remains were removed from this place and were buried in Ghom. The water in the pool of the Karimkhan's Sanctum was supplied by the Ab-e Shah Aqueduct, and thence, it flew to the Gholestan Palace downstream. Kamalolmolk, the Great Iranian painter, has painted a beautiful picture of this pool.

Beautiful ! Where is the location? What structure is it?
Hello.

PS: With a few posts in my post I could make the picture more pleasing, especially in the lower part of the reflection. I mean contrasts, clarity ... in short, incisiveness ....

But the place is beautiful ... I suppose it is in Iran ... country that one day I would like to visit !!

I agree with some of those who preceded me, the image is stunned for sure but I do not have the same beautiful feelings, indeed: - /

Marcon I think it would be helpful if you explain why your criticism is, or what is it to do with it?
I think the spirit should be to encourage and help. But if the first is an optional thing, at least the second is mandatory, especially if it is a negative one.

The idea is great, the realization less!
Unfortunately, at the bottom of the image, you notice the parasitic lights on the mirror you have used and that have a heavy impact on sharpness.
Too bad it would have been perfect.
Greetings

It's not a criticism for you, that is, it's not how the place that struck me (as you've done a good job) is taken away, but the photographed place that creates a bad feeling inside

I believe that the Golestan building in Teheran, and that the reflection is given by the bath water for ablutions not from a mirror ...
