Essen 1992. Motorshow (la data nel copyr. non è corretta). Mi portai le mie Leica R5 e M6 e presi in prestito una Hasselblad CM per provarla e confrontare la resa nel colore. I tempi di scatto furono ovviamente differenti, in quanto con l'Hasselblad ero obbligato alla massima apertura di f2,8 mentre con Leica M avevo f 1,4 sul Summilux 35. Inviai al mio laboratorio di fiducia e ciò che mi ritornò si vede in quest'immagine combinata. Vanno considerate le incognite di stampa ecc... ma le altre foto nel medesimo rullo 6x6, in luce sempre artificiale ma "normale" (la moto era illuminata con un faretto a luce rossa), denotano uno sviluppo corretto e un cromatismo diverso o perlomeno una diversa interpretazione di quel rosso. Va specificato che entrambe non rappresentano né si avvicinano alla realtà poiché le differenze cromatiche vi erano distinguibili, mentre sulle stampe il rosso domina (dipende ovviamente, che non essendo ottiche apocromatiche il rosso va a fuoco in un punto leggermente sfasato "disturbando" le altre cromie). Fu l'esperimento che mi dissuase dal prendere un'Hasselblad e indurmi a soddisfare le voglie di medioformato con soluzioni economiche. Non essendo fotografo professionista, tra le due interpretazioni preferivo quella Leica e appaiarla a un'altra palesemente differente, non mi sembrava accorto. I tempi di scatto erano in genere un trentesimo per la Leica e un ottavo per l'Hasselblad.
