La canoa a motore si rivela abbastanza confortevole, ha dei sediletti ed il tettino per il sole. Poco agevoli salite e discese, ma non troppo. Sulla riva c'è fango ma è compattato anche se un po' scivoloso. All'inizio un gran freddo dato che la canoa corre veloce controcorrente. Il fondo è ricavato da un unico tronco scavato, ed il resto è stato attaccato sopra. Arrivano schizzi, e per questo ieri, mentre giravo, ho rimediato due buste capienti che presentavano strappi e fori, sigillati però con il nastro da pacchi. L'attrezzatura è protetta. Il tragitto è affascinante, la corrente è forte, ogni tanto delle leggere rapide. Viaggiamo in mezzo alla selva amazzonica che è fitta immediatamente a ridosso del Rio Beni. Ci infiliamo in gole ancora celate dalla nebbia del mattino. Annoiati Capibara si crogiolano al sole.
