Scorcio di paesaggio vicino ad una banchina dalla quale parte una nave rompighiaccio, la Sampo. Gli elementi rotondi che si vedono sono parti di pale eoliche che poi verranno assemblate. Che dire, questa è una delle mie foto preferite della Lapponia, nonostante non rappresenti qualcosa di assolutamente fantastico come potrebbe essere un'aurora boreale... Dentro ci possiamo trovare un casottino che riproduce lo stile lappone, in legno verniciato, la produttività e la voglia di energia pulita di questo paese, ma soprattutto due cose importanti: la strana luce che vi si ritrova, ed i grandi spazi. La luce, inutile a dirsi, è tutta particolare, mai piena neanche a mezzogiorno, e dà quell'aria di malinconia e stranezza che è indecifrabile. Gli spazi (ma soprattutto il fatto che sono vuoti), fa sì che si possa assaporare la solitudine, la libertà, il silenzio.
