thomas... bentornato! ti dirò quello che penso perchè ti considero una persona estremamente intelligente nonchè un fotografo bravissimo e con una visione "fotografica" al di fuori del comune. come ti ho sempre detto, una cosa che mi è piaciuta tanto della tua pagina, è la coerenza con la quale sviluppi i tuoi progetti (molto originali sempre) sia dal punto di vista stilistico ma soprattutto del contenuto. Queste ultime foto mi sembrano un po' "fuori tema" rispetto alle prime che avevi postato in questa galleria. La ragazza da sola in un porto di notte c'entra poco poveretta e non riesco a capire il nesso... sia chiaro, non sto parlando del valore tecnico o di contenuto delle foto prese singolarmente, ma della coerenza del progetto come almeno io l'avevo percepito all'inizio. l'atmosfera del porto di notte non si sposa bene con una fanciulla tutta per bene e secondo me distoglie l'attenzione da quello che dovrebbe essere il racconto (il porto e le sue forme di "vita") e lo concentra su di lei diventando quasi un ritratto ambientato invece di essere un reportage/street. "the walk" per esempio funziona bene perchè la figura è ben inserita nel contesto e l'atmosfera è determinata dall'ambientazione dove la persone aumenta la sensazione di solitudine, abbandono, forse lieve pericolo... nelle ultime la figura è dominante e direi ingombrante e ruba la scena. spero di essere riuscito a spiegarmi e soprattutto di non essere frainteso il tutto è per parlare e per scambiare due chiacchiere tra amici.

Ho rivisitato tutto a modo mio ovviamente, scegliedo il porto di notte come location in luogo dell'aeroporto della storia originale. In questo senso, la storia della ragazza a modo che si avventura sola nel porto di notte mi appariva spunto narrativo interressante, potenzialmente ricco di mistero e suspance. Concordo con te sul punto che siamo assolutamente lontani dalla street più consueta come anche dal reportage o dal ritratto ambientato. Potremmo definirlo simpaticamente "fotoromanzo" volendo, ma è solo un modo come un altro per spiegare che il mio interesse per la fotografia va oltre le mere candid che tuttavia propongo spesso e volentieri.
