Nice shot though made in difficult light conditions. It is the fact that we spent a nice day and by my side I think that in the holiday week in late May I will come up at dawn to resume the photos with another light .... good Sunday Rob

Thanks a lot to Roberto for commenting on this shot.
The light was really hard and penalizing, but a few clicks, I do not say nice, but decent, it pulled it out.
And then it was really a beautiful day and for the time and for the company!
You think of going to the mills at dawn, but I doubt you'll find the right light as I'm afraid to stay in the shade, still try it!
A good Sunday also for you!

Truly beautiful Max, great work seen the shortage of light, also a beautiful testimony to the traditional buildings of a time. These passport details are the things I most appreciate and look for during my excursions.
Thank you for your proposal.
Good weekend.

I am really pleased, Eraldo, that you have appreciated the shot, but also the testimony that these old buildings leave us of how we lived in the past. The first settlements in Piero date back to the 1920s, so they are not very ancient, but the area was already inhabited in 2,000 BC by Ibero-Ligurian strain populations as evidenced by the presence of some rock cuts.
But what strikes me most is how our ancestors could live in empathy with nature by exploiting it without ruining it and adapting to it.
Thank you for the wonderful comment!
Good weekend even for you!
Mandi.

Beautiful detail of the sundial, the only example of "modernity" in the mills' construction. The light is well managed. ;-)
Bye, see you soon,
Roberto :-P
