Try to respond, personal opinion of course, everything depends on how it is photographed. In this photo you can see many things, fruits, even partially consumed sweets, etc., everything seems to be random (or art, depends on the effect you want to get) and in the dark: all from the impression, At least to me, leftovers, to be thrown into the junk, so if that is the effect you wanted to achieve, you've reached the goal perfectly, otherwise it would be preferable, always personal opinion, a more harmonious composition and a less flat light that puts Emphasizing the shapes and volumes of the objects, and being of food, preheating odors and flavors.
A greeting, Claudio ;-)

I do not find it so bad I have things done without a sense.
And I believe in photography as in painting or where one feels his own artist is freedom of expression.
What then the photo needs little things like light etc .. Then ok.
So if Ferdinand likes you, it's okay ...

Nb: claudio nn is a criticism to your comment but a great encouragement to Ferdinando, even if i believe nn needs :-) :-)

Claudio and Vittorio thank you for the comments, give me the opportunity to argue: I wanted, as you say, Claudio, that they appear what they are, "leftovers of a meal", so the use of opaque light that makes everything decadent. But, at the same time, the same, reused, give rise to a new meal for which the question is rhetorical ... ;-)

Claudio, in principle I agree with Fontana. Regarding the photo intended as an artistic expression sometimes I think it's necessary to use the word written to better communicate "the idea." Regarding the photo I posted I add a small detail, I arranged a knife (clearly not to threaten :-D ) That you notice only by looking carefully (projecting a shade on the "bacon") .If the object was well known, otherwise you see how sometimes it is important to accompany the eye of the look-thank you for exchanging Opinions that move the speech not so much on the photo but on the visual communication.grazie Claudio !!!

I "see" exactly how to express myself as an author and then confirm my comments. A decadent suggestion made well.
I do not like this photo very much, but my consensus is just about the ability to represent an idea as it is thought.

Paul, I am firmly convinced that looking for the aesthetic effect at all costs, do not bring anything. Thank you especially for the sincerity with which you express your thought! Thank you !!!
