Questa libellula è stata fotografata in un parco cittadino, al solito orario di pranzo (come la maggior parte degli scatti che faccio nel Parco Tarello - Album Parco Tarello) e devo dire, per essere onesto, che era la prima volta che la vedevo e da allora non l'ho più rivista.
Condivido con te, Ringhio, la passione per le libellule e per le damigelle, per cui capisco il tuo desiderio di poterle fare un ritratto (fra l'altro dei tuoi!!!) perché è davvero un insetto magnifico, una vera tigre dell'aria.
Stavo osservando un piccolo stagno presente nel parco quando questa libellula si è posata sulla ringhiera dove ero appoggiato, praticamente quasi sul mio braccio, per cui mi sono ... allontanato (anziché avvicinato) per poterla inquadrare.
Normalmente scatto sia con corpo Canon che Nikon o Sony e quel giorno avevo con me la D810 col 150 Macro stabilizzato di Sigma, utilizzato con l'extender 1,4x TC1401: l'accoppiata corpo e lente mi consentiva di spingermi un poco oltre il solito ritratto e così mi sono concentrato sugli ommatidi, per me sempre affascinanti da riprendere.
Mentre scattavo, col soggetto tranquillamente in posa, la libellula si inarcava sulle zampe e cambiava postura, inclinando il corpo, finché, ad un certo punto, è partita a razzo ed è tornata esattamente nel punto da dove era partita con una preda in bocca.
La preda, di una certa dimensione, è stata immediatamente privata delle ali e delle zampe e letteralmente divorata sotto l'occhio del mio tele che continuava a scattare FOTO.
