La basilica di San Martino (Basilika St. Martin) in Amberga è una basilica cattolica della diocesi di Ratisbona. Per via della sua importanza nella regione, fu dichiarata da "Inter templa" a "Basilica minor" da Papa Giovanni Paolo II. Costruita a partire dal 1421, in stile tardo gotico, questa splendida basilica fu costruita in tre navate con tetto unico. La chiesa, è circondata da una corona di 19 cappelle. Appena qualche decina di anni dopo la consacrazione, a partire dal 1544 durante la riformazione protestante fu usata come Chiesa Calvinista. Seguì quindi uno scempio, gli altari laterali e i quadri furono rimossi, gli affreschi distrutti. Con la contro-riformazione, la chiesa ridivenuta cattolica, ricevette un nuovo altare barocco e dipinti di Caspar de Crayer. Le vetrate originali andarono distrutte dalle cannonate nel 1703 durante la guerra di successione spagnola. "La vetrata di un tempo che fu.
