Night in Lavaredo, first test sent on September 10, 2012 (18:45) by Diego Cuzzolin. 38 comments, 5304 views.

, 30 sec f/2.8, ISO 3200, tripod.

Personally I really like, I find the colors and even natural pier
miontagne the only "visible" ;-)

I like very much, has from the composition with the gory details of the first floor visible, such as the path that leads to the Three Peaks and from there to the Milky Way, and ending with the surrender of the sky!

thanks Pmamo, Picenin and Marco! :-D
Wolf3d that immediately right of the Milky Way is not a shooting star but a satellite ;-)

beautiful night, for once you do not see that blue sky that makes this kind of unreal pictures. One moment I would have left more exposed on the first floor. (I'll tell you I was in the yard to make a picture like that, too, taking a piece of the father to approach to the 3 peaks. ;-))
hello!

Good job, well done.

Bravo diego the result seems very good and very nice composition!
Maybe the sky is a little too dark for my taste I prefer it with a little more blue, not too much but just, in this case, however, there is only black and then'd move the color balance a little more of the blue and I think then we are!
is obvious matters of personal taste, cmq compliment because it's a beautiful picture!
hello
Fabio

for the first time you've had this big.

then I improved the stars using the technique of local contrast

But talk of technology with the unsharp mask?

thank you all! :-D

how do you know which are satellites or not?
I remember that because I was going through at that time ;-)

Have you tried also to 6400 for the sky?
Yes I have a few shots, but I still have to check and fix

But you talk of technology with the unsharp mask?
Yes that described by Juza on this article [URL =] www.juzaphoto.com/article.php?l=it&article=21

@ Fabio: The procedure you described you'd done, but I did not like the scene because there was no real blue just ... issues tastes cmq ;-)

@ Pampaar: actually nell'esposizone to 85 sec on the first floor & grave, came much clearer, I lowered the oapacità always to make it as natural as possible ;-)

Very nice, it is not easy approach to night shot, I prefer the slightly bluer sky but it is a matter of taste, I think that the very large and the edge Paterno imbalances a little 'compo although in this case it is partially offset by the falling star that restores the balance.
Congratulations, hello.

Hello Stefano and Caterina and thanks passage ;-)
@ Catherine: I agree with you on the composition, I liked to include the father, and from that point of shooting with a 14 mm nothing I could do, moving the components to the left would take up even more space, this is the best compromise I found it.
Maybe next time I'll go with more time and I will get in search of a better resume point instead of drinking beer at the shelter ;-)

A night shot that looks like this, you're going against, because now go for more blue skies and mountains daylight:-D

From the figure of the mountaineer Paterno overlooking the Three Zinne a little bother me. Overall I really like the balance between shadows and light areas, very realistic. For me a good shot.
