I lived on the island for four months for study and research, and I confirm that for tourists there are minimum distances to be respected to avoid disturbing the colony. Also we tend not we got closer to the animals, but that day I went to check if the eggs had already hatched and to do that I had to bring more than usual nests (of course without touching cormorants, just to look more closely ;-) ), but always in the shortest possible time and with maximum rispetto..e while I was there I took some photos on the fly, but really without disturbing. Among other things, the cormorants are exemplary parents, who very well protect their offspring and probably, if I got too close, it would hurt himme (rightly!). :-) Grazie mille per i commenti!

Ho vissuto sull'isola per quattro mesi per motivi di studio e ricerca e ti confermo che per i turisti ci sono delle distanze minime da rispettare per non arrecare disturbo alla colonia. Anche noi tendenzialmente non ci avvicinavamo a quegli animali, ma quel giorno ero andata controllare se le uova erano già schiuse e per farlo mi sono dovuta avvicinare più del solito ai nidi (ovviamente senza toccare i cormorani, solo per guardare più da vicino  ), ma sempre nel minor tempo possibile e nel massimo rispetto..e già che c'ero ho scattato qualche foto al volo, ma davvero senza disturbare. Tra l'altro i cormorani reali sono genitori esemplari, che proteggono molto bene la prole: probabilmente, se mi fossi avvicinata troppo, avrebbe fatto male lui a me (giustamente!).  |
