Scattata a 234 mm con la 7D II e il 100-400 serie II , lo sfocato dello sfondo rispetto al 400 F 2,8 si sente tutto e gli iso son alti e il rumore troppo per la 7D II ma l'accoppiata 7D II 100-400 è sempre vincente. Ho spesso scattato con il 400 f 2,8 purtroppo non mio ma gentilmete prestato, fisso sul posatoio con la 1 DX montata e telecomando, e il 100-400 con la 7D II in mano. La possibilità di sfruttare uno Zoom in queste situazioni è impagabile, visto il soggetto di grandi dimensioni quando si avvicina, e l'esigenza di dettaglio e profondità di campo quando è distante.
