How funny that you should post this today, Tim - I'm hoping to take Mum to Lyme Regis tomorrow - I haven't been there for years.
I love the colours in this image - the storm clouds and rusty colours of the cliff contrasting with the bright colours on the boats!

Ann! I was actually planning to go back to Lyme today - BUT, the image took so long to sort through when editing on the ext hard drive ( I had taken over 1000 images that day: times two with RAW and jpeg) that by the time I re-edited it (a white speck that I missed) and finally uploaded it, I was likely to miss the planned train and so went locally for landscapes, including stock shots of two of my favourite trees. The sunrise and weather wasn't all that good but that added interest!
I may try to get to Lyme again tomorrow, or go completely the other way - Worthing also beckons - and entirely different seaside of course and one I'd never been to. Considering you're with Mum tomorrow in Lyme, maybe Sussex is a better bet!
I was rather shocked - and amazed - to see on my phone coming home from Wilton the EP. You beat me to it, you, you ....!
But I did get distant hares and a deer in the early sunshine this morning - something you don't get in London's tunnels...
Going to use my day's local bus ticket to get star shots at Old Sarum in a minute. Moonless, so they should stand out better and another attempt at such with the 11-16mm f2.8 but big tripod this time. |
