Durante il workshop dell'8 Settembre abbiamo visto due alpinisti campeggiare su una delle Tre Cime - probabilmente avevano calcolato male i tempi e si sono dovuti fermare per un bivacco in notturna. Qui uno dei due illuminava la parete con la torcia; ho colto l'occasione per testare i limiti della 7D, spingendomi a una sensibilità veramente estrema per questa reflex: 6400 ISO. Con un'elaborazione accurata sono riuscito ad ottenere un buon risultato.

L'elaborazione di questa foto consiste in riduzione rumore (in vari passaggi), regolazioni selettive di contrasto e colore, e infine contrasto locale per far risaltare le stelle.

During the landscape workshop of September 8 we have seen two climbers camping on one of the Three Peaks of Lavaredo. Here one of the climbers moved his torch to look at the wall; in this occasion I have tested the limits of Canon 7D: the photo has been taken at ISO 6400. With a careful post processing I got a good result.

The post processing of this photo consists in noise reduction (in various steps), selective adjistments of contrast and color, and local contrast to enhance the stars.

Here one of the climbers moved his torch to look at the wall, in this occasion I have tested the limits of Canon 7D: the photo has been taken at ISO 6400. With a careful post processing I got a good result.

Ho tolto il grosso del rumore con Camera RAW (info: www.juzaphoto.com/article.php?l=it&article=23 ) e ho fatto qualche correzione lieve con il Reduce Noise di Photoshop, che però è molto più limitato.
Per "tirar fuori" così tante stelle ho usato il contrasto locale, applicato solo sul cielo. E' la penultima tecnica descritta in questo articolo: www.juzaphoto.com/article.php?l=it&article=21

I removed the bulk of the noise Camera RAW (info: www.juzaphoto.com/article.php?l=it&article=23) and I made some slight correction with the Reduce Noise in Photoshop, but it is much more limited.
To "pull out" so many stars I used the local contrast, applied only to the sky. It 's the penultimate technique described in this article: www.juzaphoto.com/article.php?l=it&article=21 Grazie a tutti per i commenti!

a parte il discorso elaborazione da mago la foto è veramente suggestiva e spettacolare,due alpinisti appesi lassù in piena notte e tu che li immortali così...beh semplicemente fantastico!
