Questa scritta... che può risultare strana... è una pubblicità elettorale del lontano 1948 ed è ancora leggibile. Durante le prime elezioni politiche della Nuova Repubblica Italiana per eleggere il nuovo parlamento si fronteggiarono la Democrazia Cristiana, che vinse le consultazioni, ed il Fronte Democratico Popolare che era una coalizione formata principalmente da iscritti e simpatizzanti del Partito Comunista Italiano e del Partito Socialista. L'FDP aveva come simbolo il volto di Giuseppe Garibaldi e per questo motivo alcuni suoi militanti presero l'abitudine di apporre sui muri scritte come quella visibile in questa fotografia per invogliare coloro che avevano diritto di voto a preferirli quando sarebbero stati all'interno del seggio elettorale.
