... Someone turned on the lights? sent on April 07, 2017 (22:10) by Aleziggio. 14 comments, 1998 views. [retina]

, 8 sec f/1.4, ISO 200, tripod.

Colori in cielo ne abbiamo?

In this photo I see an aurora magnificent, with colors ranging from purple, through the brilliant green to crimson, a spectacular landscape as it is that of Kirkjufell, the "Mountain Church" in the shape of perfect cusp, the Galaxy Andromeda and the Pleiades shining in the sky, there is a great lens as the Panasonic / Leica 12mm F1.4 and then there is a fan stopped to -9 ° C waiting for a gift from heaven, came to the great . And I was there, fuck if I was there 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Wonderful. :-or

Apart from the handle there and it shows through the tunnel, Congratulations.
What amazes me is the 4/3 system that now has little to envy the larger sizes. 8-)

Spectacular, what amazes me most is the size of the Andromeda galaxy. Compliments.

Spectacular indeed, too bad for the machine with the monitor on the left :-D

Thank you all for the appreciation! :-)
@Gibo the set of sensors 16 MP of 2012, common to the penultimate generation of Olympus camera bodies, is not bad at all despite its size. And 'then clearly they have limitations, and in fact I never push as well as ISO 1600 but used with the right precautions would say the results are good, especially for a passionate amateur who likes to run "light"!
@Albi, thank you for the appreciation, you have to trust that Andromeda is the trick: I forced the post on the branches of the galaxy to make it visible, perhaps the result is that it appears a bit 'big, but do not really I increased the size, only the outermost branches usually would not be visible. Greetings!
@Lorenzo: if it makes you likeKing camera, the clone and I also I place a right! :-D

Thank you all for passing and for the comments! :-)
@Preben: hello :-) Andrea @Cosmosub the dawn as the subject for our small Oly is challenging, because you still need to collect as much light in a short time not to lose the structure of the phenomenon, but we can say that the 12mm f1, 4 is really a miracle!
@Peppe the first time I saw the aurora I have trouble believing to see the real thing, knowing what to expect: -o is a phenomenon that is well worth a trip in the northern lands!
Greetings to all and happy Easter! ;-)

Truly amazing the beauty of this shot with an Oly does not offer the latest, great.

Ps: However, you could ask the camera owner to the left if he was backing up 2 feet. :-D :-D

Thanks to Sloweyes, at the fien the E-PL5 mounts the same sensor of the E-M5, which is not bad. By the way, yesterday, a photo taken with an E-M5 won the EP. The owner of the other camera is the same one who took this photo :-D maybe you load one with a narrower cut ;-) Hi!
