Reynisfjara, la spiaggia più pericolosa dell'Islanda, con le sue magnifiche formazioni di basalto colonnare. Il pericolo di questa spiaggia è rappresentato dalle "sneaker waves", le onde oceaniche anomale, che possono essere sproporzionatamente più grandi delle onde normali e travolgere chi dovesse trovarsi sulla spiaggia. A causa della conformazione del promontorio, le correnti di fronte alla scogliera sono forti, l'abbattersi delle onde è impetuoso e l'acqua è costantemente a 3-4°C, per cui diventa difficile uscire dall'oceano una volta finiti a bagno. L'ultima morte sulla spiaggia risale allo scorso 10 febbraio, per cui: un occhio alla fotocamera e l'altro sempre rivolto verso l'Atlantico!
