Anarres, very nice close up. Like the pose/expression, the focus point, the vivid colors, the pleasant setting and the captivating eyes. Nicely composed and caught. Wally

It is a shot that has nothing to do with nature, much less with birdwatching for this type of shots should create a plane on purpose

Quoto about everything, and I add that such shots should remain in the HDD ...

I believe instead that it should be shown what is happening publicly, I'm sorry not to be able to photograph other depressing scenes, because there was a crowd and few were aware of the state of resignation of these birds of prey.

Very nice subject... excellent achievement for both sharpness, details and color management. Very nice blurred it. Congratulations. Alessandro

Very nice and well portrayed subject, perhaps in the background you could lower the noise a bit. Congratulations and Greetings! Marco.

Hello Anarres, I honestly do not like the photos taken in recovery centers, or in the equipped reserves like Bayerische in Germany, so to speak; however a beautiful portrait, a pity that sharp only in the head and upper part of the torso, but on the other hand I imagine that you work close and more at full opening and even a medium canvas at minimal distances loses a lot of depth of field. A greeting

Fabrizio

in this kind of photo perfection is a must you cut off the tail and the sning is not completely sharp
for the rest I think of it as david and emanuele

i thank you very much for your walking and considerations made.
A small chiosa for fairness: this like other photos of birds of prey are the result of a chance meeting during "open castles" in FVG, with the family we visited the castle of Fagagna open for free like many in others. On that occasion I discovered that there was this falconry initiative, i didn't like it but I was curious.
In the end I decided to take some shots because impressed by the beauty of these birds of prey, even in a context that is far from natural and right for them. There was a certain press of people in front and around and they are shots taken on the fly without much precaution. To see them again I imagine them free in their contexts.
All here.
