Spesso in coppia, queste maestose aquile non sono difficili da avvistare lungo i corsi d'acqua, e si lasciano fotografare senza fare i capricci. Chiamate anche aquile dalla testa bianco o aquile urlatrici (dovreste sentire che strilli che emettono!) In più parti dell'Africa le hanno abituate (non che ci voglia molto) a pescare su richiamo (gettandogli in acqua dei pesci) per la gioia dei fotografi meno "wild". Queste erano D.O.C.
