Ma hai ragione quando dici che i volti e le espressioni non sembrano indicare sofferenza o invidia... gli indiani sono un popolo particolare... li vedi dormire per strada e ridere , gli piace essere fotografati (di norma) ... insomma almeno nei luoghi meno urbanizzati hanno veramente un'altra filosofia di vita rispetto la nostra.... anche se di certo non disprezzano qualche aiutino materiale come quando li vai a fotografare. Diversamente da altri posti, però, quasi sempre la mancia è più una tua concessione che una richiesta. Poi ci sono situazioni e situazioni: ad esempio i nomadi vogliono essere pagati ma sono anche molto disponibili.
