A mio avviso il soggetto non è facile, la sua conformità rende complicata la soluzione di scatto. Perdonami, ma la tua scelta non mi convince.
Personalmente avrei optato per un diaframma più chiuso ed una maggiore distanza di ripresa per avere tutto il soggetto all'interno del fotogramma.
Altra scelta poteva essere solo la parte con il filo spinato comprendendo anche la parte superiore della pianta.
Naturalmente sono solo oppinioni personali.
In my opinion the subject is not easy, its compliance complicates the solution of shooting. Forgive me, but your choice does not convince me.
Personally I would have opted for a smaller aperture and longer shooting distance for the entire subject within the frame.
Another choice could be only the part with the barbed wire comprising also the upper part of the plant.

@Pigi47: innanzi tutto ti ringrazio per il commento costruttivo e attento. Ho provato anche a scattare da un po' più lontano, ma mi entravano troppi elementi di disturbo dietro l'immmagine principale che invece, in questo modo, sono rimasti sfocati. Ho fatto diversi tentativi e alla fine mi sono concentrato sul rametto secondario. Anche a me, comunque, l'immagine non finisce di convincermi...
