Buona visione a tutti!!!

Just a few days ago a friend of mine was telling me about this place Rome and this lock, and here ... here is the picture!
It amazes me that this shot has not received any comments, I really like the view that you have through the keyhole, that you are able to catch so I think impeccable: the dome that fills the frame lock etc. ...
compliments

Hello and thanks Wolf3d of passage and flattering comment:-P. In my opinion this door, near the "Garden of Oranges" and the municipal rose garden are some of the most beautiful places in the capital, where guests can spend an afternoon walk, reading a book or even photographs. Taking this shot to see some more experienced friends, I have been advised to tighten more on peephole and eliminate part of the door, but I do not agree. The idea is just to show those unfamiliar with the place as it did this peephole and contextualize it better.
A warm greeting.

Beautiful sight and inventiveness. Tighten the peephole adds nothing, if anything I would have decentralized the opening to the right as the right and the 'eye dominant for most of us. Beautiful picture, I'll be back soon 'in Rome .... ;-)

A thousand thanks for the suggestion Max57! Maybe returning to the place I'll make a little thought and try to repeat the shot decentralizing the peephole to see what comes out. I'd like to photograph at sunset to try to capture other colors and magical atmosphere.
Still happy to have you suggested a shot to be made in your next trip to Capital ;-).
A greeting.

Original! I love it! One question: you were too close to focus on even the lock with the decoration?? It would be even better if I could also focus on the "frame"! Obviously you want to merge like a double exposure of PS .. However, again, even so beautiful! :-)

Hello Stephen, and thanks for the ride and for the nice comment. I'm glad that you enjoyed this shot:-P. I shot with the lens a few inches through the peephole, and the aim was to focus on the Dome and let only hinted at the shape of the plate, so do not overdo it and introduce disturbing elements. In short, that I wanted the viewer's gaze fell on the landscape, contextualizing still shooting.
A cordial greeting ;-).

You're probably right! Would be lost attention to the dome through the peephole! So we can clearly see the "world" beyond the lock! ;-)

Perfectly successful, many do not know how hard it is to photograph in the lock.
Hello Danilo.
