Belli i riflessi dell'acqua, peccato per la preda tagliata avrebbe dato ancora più forza alla cattura!!

 Bella!!! Credo che sia tipico delle Natrici puntare ad obiettivi più grossi di loro e spesso fuori portata. Mi ricordo che durante un campo militare sul fiume Tagliamento (...ahimè, più di 30 anni fa!!!!) vidi nell'acqua chiarissima una Natrice tessellata che aveva catturato una Trota fario di una decina di cm. Ci fu una lotta enorme fra la Natrix che la teneva lateralmente, poco dietro il capo, e la trotella che si dimenava a più non posso costringendo la Natrix a restare per troppo tempo sott'acqua, sempre a pochi cm da riva. Alla fine, ma dopo più di 15 minuti, la trotella riuscì a liberarsi durante una risalita respiratoria della Natrice che ormai era spossata dalla fatica!...Morale...Trotella libera e Natrice che è risalita a riva a pancia vuota. Nulla di che, ma lo ricordo ancora come uno spettacolo affascinante più di qualunque documentario trasmettessero all'epoca!!:-)

wow wow wow! Bella! I think it's typical of Natrici aim for targets larger than them and often out of reach. I remember that during a military camp on the river Tagliamento (... alas, more than 30 years ago!) Saw a clear water Natrice tessellata that had caught a brown trout of about ten cm. There was a huge fight between the Natrix holding her side, just behind the head, and the Trotella wriggling like crazy forcing Natrix to stay underwater for too long, always a few inches from the shore. In the end, but after more than 15 minutes, the Trotella broke free during a rise of respiratory Natrice that it was exhausted by the effort! ... Moral ... Trotella free and Natrice that has risen to the shore on an empty stomach. None of that, but still remember it as one of the most fascinating sight of any documentary trasmettessero time :-)
