Questo vecchio leone che si scaldava al sole, una settimana prima era stato allontanato, da un maschio più giovane, dalle due femmine che costituivano il suo branco. Ricordo ancora la tristezza che provai nel vedere questo animale ancora possente ma inevitabilmente avviato verso un destino di solitudine e di stenti (la dura legge della natura)
