La priala era un mezzo rudimentale e primitivo trainato da buoi e muli, che serviva per trasportare, lungo sentieri ripidi, derrate di vario genere: legname, fogliame, segale, fieno, oppure persone. Consisteva nell'avantreno di un carro a stanghe (baròz); sull'asse delle ruote venivano posti due legni, solitamente di betulla, lunghi 3,5 m circa che formavano un piano inclinato e che erano tenuti paralleli grazie a dei legni di nocciolo lunghi circa 1 m , posti trasversalmente (mezpùnt)
