The Milky Way does not seem highlighted, almost like a little 'less obvious, but in general this second version I like best, the sky is "star" and the mountains stand out more, there is more contrast.

Ciao a tutti

Already, the Milky Way does not fare much better in this version ... I'm going to repetitions of photoshop! :-D
However, I prefer this version to the first ...
Thanks to Picenin and Fotomistico for the passage!

Sorry, it is a photo that I have re-posted I had not reported all specifications ... the picture is obtained by the union of 7 vertical shots, all done with the settings shown, both for the sky to the mountains. Thanks to you Andrea for your visit.

hello! looking at the two versions I noticed that the stars are highlighted in this photo, but the arc of the Milky Way is more emphasized in the previous version. what method did you use to search for a contrast? You hit the screens brightness?

Grazie,
Adriano.

Thanks Losga77, that I took it from the square in front of the monument that is located behind the cabin Segantini.

@ Pampaar: no, I have not tried with forms brightness substantially because they do not know them:-D .. are just starting out with photoshop. In essence, to achieve this I separate mountains, sky and stars in three levels and have worked separately on each level. For the mountains I duplicated the layer, the first I applied a mask blur to reduce noise and the second I applied the High Pass filter with overlay method to recover a bit 'of sharpness. Even the sky I applied a mask blur to reduce noise. To separate the stars from the sky I used the magic wand trivially taking rather low tolerance. On all levels I still played with adjusting curves, brightness, contrast, saturation. But I would be curious to understand how maschre brightness and what would be the most effective approach to work this type of photo.
Thank you,
Adriano.

...moooolto bella!

Ciao!

Soooo ... beautiful!
The atmosphere that emerges is one of those breath-taking in the beauty of vision and, having experienced it, I have to say that the shot reminds me very well. Great!

ps1: When you try again?
ps2: for me is really quite a nice picture.

Sorriso

Hello Henry, thanks for the comment. The sky that night was truly breathtaking and the experience is definitely worth repeating ... for the date we will be there, no? ;-) ... it only remains to establish the goal and go! :-)
