Questa specie di Namaqua è molto comune ad Etosha, sopratutto nei pressi delle pozze si sente spesso il suo richiamo. Ma pur essendo una specie così facile da avvistare riuscire a fare uno scatto così ravvicinato e dettagliato ha richiesta un'alta dose di fortuna e una collaborazione della Namaqua (femmina) non indifferente. Scatto effettuato dalla macchina, il soggetto era vicino al bordo della strada e stranamente mi ha concesso alcuni (rapidi) scatti prima di volare via, lontano.
