Nepal, Katmandu 1977, da negativo (Ilford FP4 sempre per il piacere di Matteo). Se cammini per le strade di Katmandu, e hai una macchina fotografica al collo, sei spacciato! Ovunque posi lo sguardo scatti, ti giri, osservi, fai due passi e di nuovo scatti, e così di seguito, in modo continuo ... compulsivo. Non puoi contenerti perché tutti coloro che ti circondano, e tutto ciò che ti si presenta è, ai tuoi occhi nuovo, diverso, stupefacente. Così ti capita, lungo un marciapiede, ad un angolo di una qualsiasi strada, di intravvedere - in realtà di incontrare - due bimbe che si nascondono all'interno di un tempietto votivo. E immediatamente scatti, ma tra te e loro, a dividervi c'è, inesorabilmente, una fredda, invadente, meccanica camera!
