I do NOT think the whites are too much, admittedly certainly should not be any brighter than they are. I wrote 'lovely black/white' because I meant it and still do. The background needs to be quite bright in places for the eye to follow through from the foreground and then through the image - a visual journey, which I always say always makes for the best compositions. |
