I like the movement of the wings, shame about the light a little hard and the network visible .. (you could clone).

demand and excuse the ignorance, but what defines a harsh light?

It 's hard in the sense that, since you have probably taken when the sun is very high, for example noon or so the light creates shadows very clear, high-contrast images. For this you prefer to take in nature photography at dawn and at sunset are times when the light is not strong but, of course, soft. You can experiment yourself, would notice a significant improvement in shooting at these times of the day ... I hope I more or less explained but if you need more ask:-D

Because in reality the definition technical hard light is not "the sun's noon", but the term is used to indicate images with strong contrasts. Google find links like this to clear up the concept: [URL =] www.bellone.net/file_pubblicati/luce_dura_morbida.htm

understood perfectly ... but the question remains for me: if I shot almost at sunset, and I otttenuto a hard light, then how do I get a soft light?
with a subject in the shade?
but then shooting freehand would never come out .. and with a 60mm the tripod most of the time is a little uncomfortable ..

In this case, to avoid those shadows marked on the face of the insect, would offset the increase in exposure, especially if you're against the (then with the sun behind or "almost behind" the subject)

Yes, but this is a completely different matter and I can not help you, I've never used it.

Immagine molto bella.

Very beautiful image. I, my opinion, cut the frame. The hardness can do a lot in PP

Very nice and dynamic, and I like it that way ', I agree that any action can be taken after softening.
