at 15mm, 25 sec f/6.3, ISO 400, tripod. Salisbury, United Kingdom.

Dark night with varied light (and bright) light sources, including the moon and I can only think that the purple is from lens flare directly from the incredibly bright streetlamp just out of shot. Too dark for much extraction from the sky, so I haven't gone too far with that and I did up the the saturation somewhat - I had already edited this RAW before and I didn't like it enough, perhaps I was too timid with it. I also shot horizontally, but that was a bit boring, the stillness is conveyed mainly through that foreground. AnnH: Peace & Love and I'm going to see the multi Oscar nominated La La Land at the cinema this evening, so won't be around online. Have a good evening and weekend! Thanks Ann. There is some good weather about for a few hours passing over during tomorrow and Stroud via Gloucester for under twenty quid return is too good to ignore, even if it is nearly 6 hours travelling. As you can possibly tell, I need a bit of a break away to somewhere nice that I've never been to before. And I'm going to the flicks with little Primrose's grandparents - we haven't been to the cinema since, well, three years?
