Questo velivolo Fiat G 46-3 B fu costruito fra il 1948 e il 1952 come aereo da addestramento piloti sia in versione mono che biposto e con diverse motorizzazioni. Fu adottato dall'Aeronautica Italiana ed anche da quella di diversi paesi esteri. La versione 3, qui raffigurata in versione biposto, aveva un motore Alfa Romeo a 6 cilindri in linea e una potenza di 225 cavalli. La velocità di crociera di questo aereo era sui 260 chilometri orari mentre quella massima si aggirava attorno ai 310 chilometri. Questo esemplare si trova a Modena e fa parte del monumento dedicato ai piloti modenesi caduti... sia militari che civili. Tale opera è situata nei pressi di dove fu costruito il primo campo di volo della città nei primi decenni del 1900...
