La “Galaverna” è una corsa podistica amatoriale, che si svolge a Pianoro da 45 anni. Organizzata dall'Avis locale, si tratta di una camminata affrontabile in vari modi e lungo vari percorsi, con segmenti che vanno dai 3,5 fino ai 20 Km. È un evento di beneficienza, al quale possono partecipare persone di ogni età e che può essere affrontato secondo le proprie possibilità fisiche: di corsa puntando alla vittoria o camminando con la propria famiglia e il proprio cane e chiacchierando fra amici. Da qualche anno l'evento è dedicato alla memoria di Alice Gruppioni.
