Questa foto riprende la zona centrale della costellazione dell'Auriga, è la prima di alcune foto che ho realizzato negli ultimi giorni dell' 2016 sotto il meraviglioso cielo delle Dolomiti Trentine. In quelle notti al gelo c'erano anche due miei carissimi amici, nemmeno a dirlo bravissimi astrofotografi, Giampaolo Salvato e Mario Cogo. La foto è una somma di 12 esposizione da 600s a 1600iso con una Canon 5D MarkII Centralds, al fuoco di un rifrattore apocromatico APM 130f6 ridotto a f3.7, il tutto sulla montatura Gemini G53.

Vega few evenings I try with a mask in the diaphragm objective and see if anything changes, mostly to see if the spacers are the real culprits or if ul problem is elsewhere.
