Contestualizzo: tra le varie attività, durante l'ultima vacanza intercontinentale abbiamo provato il "nuoto con i delfini": c'era un punto in cui un gruppo di delfini si era insediato, non molto lontano dalla costa.
Dopo che abbiamo nuotato vicino ai delfini, quando la barca ha invertito la rotta per tornare alla base ha iniziato a zigzagare, creando una serie di onde.
Alcuni delfini hanno iniziato a inseguirci, saltando giocosamente sulle onde create dalla nave, e la tentazione di "fermare" qualche loro salto è stata irresistibile.

Tecnicamente non è difficilissimo: tempi da 1/1600esimo a 1/4000esimo, Autofocus in modalità AI Servo...
Il problema è che è più complicato che cercare di seguire un uccello in volo: quando si nota che un delfino ha iniziato il salto, ora che lo si inquadra è già tornato sott'acqua!
Dopo un po' di sconcerto, si inizia a puntare dove un delfino ha appena saltato, sperando che faccia un secondo salto.

Alla fine, su 2-300 foto fatte in una decina di minuti, la grandissima parte le ho cestinate perché ho inquadrato solo acqua, un certo numero le ho cestinate perché il mammifero era fuori fuoco, ma qualcuna da conservare, malgrado la nuvolosità della giornata e quindi il limitato contrasto, mi è rimasta.
