Has the colour tones of old Agfa film.

I eventually went over to Kodak, in fact I was using film up to the end of 2012. I used Iso 50 to 800.

I went digital in Aug 2008, much later than anyone else I knew at the time. I rather liked XP1 too, which was 'variable' iso, from 50-1600, if I recall, radical, but of course, you had to expose the rest of the film as you did the first frame, which to every digital user now would seem very alien.

You didn't take the shot unless you new it would work with film as there were developing and printing costs. With digital once you've bit the bullet and bought the kit no such problem.

Absolutely. Just big external hard drives that if they die, so do all your images! (so you back up a back up, etc etc etc!)
