at 403mm, 1/2000 f/8.0, ISO 640, hand held. Specie: Aquila adalberti

La foto sicuramente non è un gran che, ma come documento merita molto dato che si tratta del primo esemplare di aquila imperiale iberica registrato in Italia. Dopo aver appreso della sua presenza nella zona della bonifica di Vecchiano il giorno dopo sono andato alla sua ricerca, senza alcuna pretesa ovviamente, essendo un' area molto estesa le possibilità di poterla fotografare erano molto basse. Con molta fortuna pero sono riuscito a trovarla mentre volteggiava sopra un campo appena arato. Nel pomeriggio sono riuscito a rivederla, ma a grande distanza,l ho osservata al binocolo mentre era mobbata da una decina di cornacchie grigie, ha sottratto la preda ad un falco di palude prima di prendere una termica e sparire nel cielo. una grandissimo incontro che porterò sempre con me!
