Nel tempio di Pashupatinath, tempio Hindu, abbiamo assistito ad una cerimonia funebre presso i ghat situati a sud dell'edificio. È un luogo dalla grande carica emotiva. Dal lato opposto del fiume i Sadhu (santoni) sono ormai personaggi famosi per questo tempio, conducono una vita semplice, senza famiglia, raccolti nelle loro tradizioni.
