Il Coro del Tabernacolo Mormone, uno dei cori più antichi e grandi del mondo, ha vinto tantissimi premi e ha affascinato il pubblico di decine di paesi. Il coro ha base a Salt Lake City, Utah, presso la sede centrale della Chiesa di Gesù Cristo dei Santi degli Ultimi Giorni. Questo coro è composto da 360 cantanti volontari di età compresa tra i 25 e i 60 anni che appartengono alla Chiesa. Essi fanno pratica e si esibiscono ogni settimana e sono accompagnati di frequente dall'Orchestra della Piazza del Tempio.Il Coro del Tabernacolo Mormone è nato a metà del XIX secolo. All'inizio un piccolo coro cantò ad una conferenza della Chiesa il 22 agosto 1847, appena 29 giorni dopo che i primi pionieri arrivarono e si stabilirono nella Valle del Lago Salato. Ad accompagnare il coro nel grande auditorium è l'organo del Tabernacolo con le sue 11.623 prominenti canne dorate, ricavate da bastoni tondi scolpiti a mano, fatti con legname dello Utah.
